Privacy information

We use the details you give us to answer professional enquiries and plan potential supply or partnerships. This notice explains what the Orberry Europe website does with that information. It does not sign you up for marketing.

Controller and contact

The controller for information submitted on this site is Orberry Farm SRL, registered at Sat Scurta, Comuna Orbeni, Str. Principală nr. 144, județul Bacău, cod poștal 607386, România. Trade Register J2025021858007; CUI 51522661. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email contact@orberryfarm.ro, use our contact form, or write to the registered office. You do not need to submit a new sales enquiry to make a privacy request.

What we collect

A quote request may include your name, business, country, email, optional phone, project location, orchard area, cultivars, season, plant specification and other details you enter. Partner and contact forms collect the contact and business details you choose to provide. If you follow the orchard calculator to a form, the site can include the area, spacing and resulting initial plant estimates. Form submissions also contain the language, source page URL without its query string, any UTM campaign parameters present at submission, and a submission timestamp. We use these to understand the source of the enquiry; we do not store external referrers or first-touch marketing data in browser session storage.

For a commercial quote request, we send an automatic transactional confirmation to the email address you provide and notify our nursery team. The message summarizes the project details and lets you reply directly to contact@orberryfarm.ro; it is not a newsletter. An SMTP provider's acceptance does not prove delivery to your inbox.

Our hosting service may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, request time and browser details. Access to the private editorial portal also uses authentication information and an essential session cookie.

The hosting platform currently loads a script from manus-analytics.com and sends requests to it even if you decline optional analytics. This is separate from Google Analytics 4, which only loads after your consent. The GA4 preference control does not block the platform's script. These requests can disclose technical connection information, including the IP address and visited page, to that service. Disabling the platform script requires a hosting-level change; until then, declining GA4 does not stop every analytics request.

Purpose and legal basis

We use submitted details to respond to your request, discuss a potential quotation or collaboration and take steps you ask us to take before a contract where this applies (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). When you represent a business and that basis does not apply to you personally, our legitimate interest in handling genuine business enquiries is the basis (Article 6(1)(f)); you can object to processing based on that interest. Website security and abuse prevention also rely on legitimate interests. Where records must be kept under applicable law, we process them for that legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not use an enquiry checkbox as consent to unrelated marketing.

Required and optional details

The fields marked with an asterisk in each form are needed to receive and answer that request. If you do not provide them, we cannot process the form. Other fields help us prepare a more relevant reply but are optional; the website does not use automated decisions about eligibility or price.

Recipients and transfers

Authorized Orberry staff can review enquiries in a protected database and may receive an owner notification to follow up. Managed hosting, database and notification providers process data to operate those functions. We do not publish submitted enquiries or sell contact details. If a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, the applicable GDPR transfer rules and safeguards must be observed; ask us for information about a relevant provider and safeguard. External article and video links are not loaded as embedded players by this site.

Optional website analytics

If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) measures visits and these events: quote_submitted (language, hectares when supplied, planting season, and whether funding applies), contact_submitted, and calculator_used. We do not send your name, email, phone, message, enquiry identifier or URL query parameters to Google. Google may process technical information such as your IP address and browser data when the tag is enabled. The legal basis for this optional measurement and its storage is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); you may decline or withdraw it at any time through Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops future measurement, but does not undo previous processing. Google's processing and any international transfers are subject to its applicable terms and safeguards. Ask us about the current GA4 property retention setting if needed.

Retention

We retain an enquiry while responding and, if a business relationship follows, for the related commercial relationship. Subsequent retention depends on whether further correspondence, a dispute, a legal obligation or an applicable limitation period requires it; information no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted or anonymized. Contact us to ask about the record associated with your enquiry or to request deletion where the law permits.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable GDPR conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to legitimate-interest processing, and request portability where it applies. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or another competent EEA supervisory authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
