Information for visitors to the Orberry Europe professional website.
The hosting platform currently loads a script from manus-analytics.com and sends requests to it even if you decline optional analytics. This is separate from Google Analytics 4, which only loads after your consent. The GA4 preference control does not block the platform's script. These requests can disclose technical connection information, including the IP address and visited page, to that service. Disabling the platform script requires a hosting-level change; until then, declining GA4 does not stop every analytics request.
Essential storage
Only authorized users of the private content portal need login storage. Public visitors can read the site and send enquiries without signing in. The website currently uses the following first-party, strictly necessary login cookies:

The browser may keep normal technical caches to display pages. We do not keep marketing referral or campaign parameters in session storage. Browser security settings can block necessary login cookies, in which case the private portal may not work.
If you choose another language, the public site stores the selected language in first-party local storage under orberry_language until you clear it. If you dismiss the suggestion to continue in that language, the site remembers that dismissal in session storage under orberry_language_stay_en until the browser session ends. These choices do not track visits or send data to advertisers, and you can always change language manually.
After a successful quote request, this browser tab keeps the request summary and your email in first-party session storage until the tab is closed so the thank-you page can show what was submitted. The data is not placed in the URL or the public HTML cache. A small session flag prevents the same internal conversion event from counting twice on reload. Google Analytics 4 and other audience measurement tools are not active.
Optional tools
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) measures visits and the three form/calculator events described in our privacy information. It may set first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits; their maximum lifetime can be up to two years, depending on Google's and your browser's settings. It receives only the page path, not the URL query, and the non-personal event parameters listed there. This is not necessary to read the site or send an enquiry. Google Analytics remains off if you decline. Third-party video embeds remain inactive.
Your analytics choice is kept in first-party local storage as orberry_analytics_consent until you change it or clear browser storage. It is used only to remember whether the optional tag may load. The preference control is available in the footer on every page.
Your choices
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to accept, decline or withdraw your consent at any time. Declining is as easy as accepting. Withdrawing stops future GA4 collection and removes first-party GA cookies accessible on this domain; prior processing is not undone. You may clear existing site cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential authentication storage may prevent an authorized staff member from using the private portal, but it does not prevent visitors from reading the public pages.
