NURSERY DIRECTOR

Adelin Morarasu

Adelin Morarasu leads the Orberry nursery and is at the centre of its professional planting-material operation.

His work connects the Orberry cultivar portfolio with the practical requirements of commercial supply — nursery production, plant quality, propagation, selection and preparation for professional orchard projects.

For growers and commercial partners, Adelin is the principal Orberry contact and operational reference for the nursery and planting-material side of the business.

Background. Adelin graduated from the Faculty of Biology in Bacău and holds a master's degree in horticulture. A fruit grower with more than 30 years of experience, he trained under Professor Ioan Viorel Rați in Bacău.

Alexandru Vulpe

Mara, Clara, Cora, Dora and Andros originate from the breeding work of Alexandru Vulpe.

Orberry Farm SRL holds the Romanian plant variety patents for all five cultivars, connecting the nursery directly with the origin of the genetics it supplies.

His breeding work and accumulated knowledge of the cultivars form an important part of the technical foundation behind the Orberry portfolio.

Background. A graduate of the Faculty of Horticulture in Iași, Alexandru founded the Frumușeni sea-buckthorn centre in 2008. He helped select the Orbeni mother-plantation site.
